As a doula, I provide mental, emotional, and physical support to birthing people and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, especially providing advocacy, resources, and education.

I offer traditional and holistic birth and postpartum doula services, herbs and other natural remedies to support families, including cannabis therapeutics. I also support families using hypnosis during childbirth, as a HypnoDoula!

Serving Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Students In-person & Virtually in Washington, D.C.
HypnoDoula support from a certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor, and two time Hypno-Mom, families can choose in-person support or virtual sessions designed to support them in using medical grade hypnosis during childbirth and reinforcing their Bubble of Peace, for an easier more comfortable birth.

Traditional Postpartum Support in the African American Tradition
Families will receive postpartum planning and resources, 3 postpartum home visits, immediate postpartum support and care which includes belly binding, breastfeeding support, placenta burial or encapsulation support, cooked meals, herb bath and yoni steam, postpartum womb teas, salves, bath soaks, and baby butter.  Families are also welcome to enroll in Nurturing Parenting classes to support early parenting!
Virtual Doula Packages
For expectant parents who need virtual support considering their options for giving birth, during virtual sessions you'll receive resources for choosing the right care provider, place to give birth, support for birthing at home, and comfort measures to support you during pregnancy and birth.
You may be located anywhere to take advantage of these services!
Wondering if virtual doula services is right for you? Families who choose virtual doula support benefit from receiving individualized support no matter their location, and in the comfort and convenience of their home. A great option for families who are birthing in locations that may restrict doulas in-person due to COVID-19, as well as families birthing at home with a midwife or unassisted, families with a big support team, or no support team, parents utilize virtual doula services to prepare for birth-- all from their smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Sibling Doula
Childcare for Birthing Families
In-home family childcare for children who's parents are preparing to give birth.  Families can request sibling doula services during pregnancy and during the childbirth.  During our time together, children are welcomed into our home, where we will talk about the new baby, read books, learn how to be a good sibling by being kind and helpful. Children are provided meals and age appropriate activities.
The Cannabis Doula®
Family-Centered Cannabis Education & Holistic Doula Support
For families who consume cannabis prior to pregnancy, during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and while breastfeeding, The Cannabis Doula provides evidence-based cannabis education to support families in making informed decisions on cannabis medicine, talking to their care providers, and advocating for safe and holistic cannabis consumption (or cessation) during pregnancy.
